I've heard sandblasting is also out.  I get shocked by mine on occasion.  No big deal, just static discharge I imagine, but I don't have a pacemaker either.

That’s one of the first things I thought of as well, could not find anything I’d trust cot something so serious.
Maybe I can find one of those old static ground straps that we used to drag around under our cars!!🤪

Also, if you search on Amazon for "EMF / RF meter" you can find devices designed to measure the fields.  This might be interesting to measure the fields when you do a test weld to see if you should turn the power down.

My heart story is a bit different than yours. 

In 2020, I went in the hospital to have kidney stones removed as an outpatient.  To shorten the story a bit, I wound up having a minor heart attack on the operating table.  Afterwards, my heart was racing at times up to 300 beats a minute.   I was moved to what was called icu stepdown, where I was monitored for arrhythmia.   Several different doctors came in over the next couple of days, and they all mentioned the word "pacemaker".   What I come to find out is they were waiting for a certain doctor to come see me, I guess he was out of town or whatnot.  He finally came in on a Saturday morning, looked at my charts, yelled at another doctor in front of me, then told me he had to do an ablation asap.  Wound up being the following morning.   To further shorten this story, the procedure was done, but the problem didn't go away.   It turned out after everything was said and done and all of the pacemaker talk, that I was having a reaction to the medicine I was being given for the kidney stones.   Flomax.    But I went through an ablation procedure and darn near got a pacemaker over medication!

I actually had two pacemakers put in.
The first was a temporary one in the right side, put in because the newly implemented hospital IT system crashed , two days later the permanent pacemaker got implanted on the left side.

 
Was your temp in the IJ in the neck?
