I had some really heavy runs at the front of the fender at the body line running down. I used a razor blade to take the high spots down and a quick buff. It turned out way better than I thought it would. I really thought I would ruin it and have to respray it. This will be a long slow process. Hopefully I can get myself in the garage after work and get a little down every day. Running out of time. Our done will be home in about two months.
One picture is after the razor blade and wet sanding. The other is after a quick buff. I need to order new buffing pad and a flat am pad.

That’s an interesting colour, seems similar to mine which is non Ford.
My paint is a single stage urethane with hardener that did not need wet sanding or buffing, it’s called “Rosso Swift” a 1990’s Italian colour.

It's Ford Race Red. It's the same color as my wife's 2022 Bronco.

Drivers side is done. Hood is almost ready to be buffed. Not sure why I can't post pictures.
I decided not to start it and try to tune it and set the timing. Figured I would focus on wet sanding.

Had yard work to do today and look at my daughter's car. Not sure I got her car fixed, praying I did.
The hood kick my butt today. I did get the fender wet sanded just not buffed. Worked on some runs on the quarter panel and clean up the door so I can start wet sanding it tomorrow. I really need to get off my butt and get this done. I've got about 3-4 weeks to get it on the ground and driving.

Thanks everyone. I had to order a new wool buffing pad and more compound. I have more spots to redo than I thought. A little discouraging but I'll get it completed by the end of the weekend.

Bought a new wool pad with a quick disconnect and rebuffed the entire car. It looks much better now. I have some blemishes in the paint. So it's not perfect. There's some areas that could use a little wet sanding but I'm done for now. I want to drive it. One picture shows the spot I touched up.
Where did you get all your fiberglass parts
