I wish I was able to make it.

Same from me, I wish I could make it. I just jumped on another aircraft program at work and took over a new system from a guy that wasn't doing things right. I have to stay focused on getting this laboratory back on track before I can take time off again.

What aircraft program and what aircraft? (Sorry - 50 years as an aircraft mechanic - I perk up when I read aircraft!)

I just switched over from an Australian program to an Italian program. We build some interesting tools for their militaries to use in the ISR worlds.

Sorry for taking awhile to RSVP (emailed). Flying in Friday to definitely attend Bob’s Celebration of Life/Bullet’s Final Bash.

Hey guys, I received a call today from Renee, Bullet's daughter, who wanted me to pass along a couple of things. The local car club will be conducting a cruise Saturday in honor of Bullet at 1:00 pm which will end at Bullet's home, where his 66 Heap will be on display. Renee hopes all of us will join the cruise in our Mustangs.
She also forwarded this How To Prepare For Altitude in Colorado article:

Attached is the information on the cruise before Bullet's Celebration of Life this Saturday. I hope all of us who drive our Mustangs to Montrose will participate in the cruise. Adrian, Bob's good friend, said those who didn't drive a Mustang will be able to ride in one of the club member's vehicle if need be. We are welcome to stop and visit with Bob's family after the cruise, where we can inspect Bob's parts and tools for sale.
APRIL 18TH MONTROSE CRUISE IN HONOR OF BOB EVANS.
Please plan on expressing our condolences and support for the family of Bob Evans who passed away Feb. 4th. Bob was an active member of the BCC for many years and assisted in many of the club events including the car show. Bob built his 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe and drove it all over the country going to various Mustang events and car shows. He was often at the Friday night cruises and was always willing to share his knowledge and experience with anyone. He was also a master machinist and enjoyed designing and building his own parts. We would like to have club members as well as anyone else who knew Bob bring their cars and meet at 12:45 at the parking lot of the CROSSROADS VICTORY CHURCH where we will then as group drive by Bob’s home to show our appreciation and support to Bob’s family. The family will be outside and you may certainly bring a card or just a honk and wave .
This invitation goes out to any and all western slope car clubs and their members and we welcome all who wish to attend.
Bob was a very special friend to me and I will miss him more than I can say. I really hope those of you who can will take the time to join us.

BroPaul and I made it to Bakersfield at around 8:30pm, and he continued home to Fresno. Guys, my issue was the mechanical fuel pump, which according to my memory only Sally mentioned. Bypassed the pump and used the electric fuel pump to get home.

Made it home/Magnolia, TX. by about 8:20 last night. Flying home was fun…NOT!
It was great to see everyone, even greater tribute to Bullet Bob!

Glad some of you were able to get some of Bullet's stuff re-homed. Really no room in the red witch and I have way too much stuff already. Great to see those of you who attended. The family was deeply grateful for those who did. Renee, Michael, Jean, Bullet's brother Jay, bro in law Roy - all were profuse in their thankfulness. Kudos for making the trip - as they say, you never regret doing the right thing. A salute to Charles and Steve for grabbing the mic at the celebration and helping people understand Bullet's impact on us.
Quick question, carb guys including MS, Glenn and GeeZee - what fuel pump arrangement are you running? Roseanne could benefit from some best practices. She did get 20+ mpg on most legs, some as high as 23mpg.
Yes, it's sitting on a jack stand. The floor jack is extra...

Before I switched to an EFI system, I used a Summit mechanical fuel pump and had no issues with it. It put out the expected 6-7 PSI so I didn’t need a fuel pressure regulator.

Thanks to all the message boarders who came out for the Celebration of Life this past weekend in Montrose. It was truly touching to see the amount of people Bob was connected to. You guys were a very important part of his life.
Thanks

I have a O'reily's pump for early 80s 5.0 Mustang that has a return line back to the fuel tank.

I was back in Montrose on Wednesday and headed home after loading up a trailer with all of Bob's machine shop and boxes of Mustang parts. I made an offer for it all that Renee couldn't refuse. Not sure where I'm going to put it all but a lot will be hitting craigslist and FB in a few days. Some of the stuff I just stare at and wonder what the heck it is but I'm sure it served a purpose for something he was making.
