Whats a good "quality" heater box repair kit. All the foam inside my cars 66 stock heater box is crumbling. It was rebuilt many years ago but hardly ever used. Is there a supplier that uses automotive grade foam?

CJ’s has a full seal kit for $13. As far as quality, these days, who knows.

I got one from NPD 10 years ago and it is holding up. At least the ones I can see. 18A569-1A for 65-66.

Tool box draw bottom liner stuff. Never had one fail yet. 20 plus years and counting

Made resealed my heater using camper foam tape. Fairly wide and thin. Still holding after 27 years. Just had to be creative on my budget at time.

They have invented FLEX SEAL since then. Yeah, that's the ticket!
