Got the new switch and works perfectly. But had to send my MSD box and distributor back to MSD for repair. Anybody else issues with defective parts out of the box?

If I put my timing light on the coil wire I get strobe. If I put it on the spark plug wires nothing. Does that sound like the distributor or box?

Brand new Optima Red Top. 12.6- 12.7v at battery. When cranking goes down to about 10.6v. Bad Battery? Starter? Solenoid? Something else? Thanks

on mine is Branch 3. Wire 5, comes out of the ignition switch. But this wire is hot on Ignition. (First click to right). So when connected to "S" the just cranks. I will call AAW this week. Thanks

Tied the purple from the Ignition and the purple from the fuse box (Branch 1) together and connected to "S" on solenoid. Problem is that the ignition purple wire is hot in the ignition (first click to right) position.

no Crank in ACC. (key to left). Crank in IGN. (first click to right). No sense in attempting the normal key all the way to right and release.

So sounds like I should have 2 purple going to "S" terminal. Or at least one spliced into the other somewhere along the line.  According to the AAW instructions there is a purple from the main branch and a purple from the ignition switch. I will give that a try,

So I should just need some ignition power to the "S" (front) terminal and be good to go?

Sounds like I need an ignition connection to the "S", I already have a wire going from the "I" to one of the studs on the starter per the manufacturer instructions.  So sounds like I just need 1 wire. Thanks
Not stock ignition, MSD. set up

Finished installing AAW kit on 68 mustang. Should there be power across the solenoid in start and cranking position I .get no power under any condition on the starter side of the solenoid, Grounds or bad solenoid? Also are there any wires that go on the "S" or "I" studs of the solenoid? Thanks?

Sorry, I don't know any shops that can do a decent job for that money. Most shops are $75-$85 per hour not including materials and paint.
