Ron, I may have found the issue.
i had an after market shifter (B&m hammer) on the transmission and when I took the two bottom bolts off the servo cover to remove the bracket for the shifter cable the seal may have squeeze out.
i may have pinched it when I retightened the bolts and caused the servo piston pressure to push the atf fluid out thru the pinched seal.
ill find out this coming weekend hope it’s that easy.

I replaced my trunk springs with struts, worked out just fine no kit involve.  I dealt with a company that specializes in struts and mounts.  They told me exactly how to go about this process.  I'll think about this and give you the name of the company when I remember it!!

I’d like to see a pic of what it looks like

I have an original balancer on my 65 mustang and I think it has been moving. I just put a piston stop in the number one hole and it isn’t even close to tdc.
moved it from stop to stop and found the center and I can see it a good 1-1/2 inches from the tdc factory marking..
is this right or am I doing something wrong. As old as it is maybe it’s time to get a new one, any suggestions.

I am stripping down my 67 project coupe car and came across a part that is held in with rivets in the drip rail slot. Some of this metal strip is missing and was wondering do I really need to put this on. I was just thinking of filling the holes and let it go. Any ideas will be helpful.

6sally6 what do you mean by saying rotate the piston so it faces the rear of the engine. What will that do.
