FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » 1965 coupe stock steering wheel » 4/10/2018 5:50 PM |
Replaced my front seats with a pair out of a 2015 Mustang, everything went fine, but the steering wheel is too big and off set too much. I like the stock steering wheel, but at 16 inch diameter with a 5 inch offset it's just not going to work, what size and brand have you guys replaced the stock wheel with, I've seen 14 - 15 inch dia and 3 inch to 0 inch offset, what works good and looks good
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Under dash AC leaking fitting » 9/05/2017 7:36 PM |
Yes in sizes 6, 8, 10, and 12 fittings
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Under dash AC leaking fitting » 9/05/2017 6:01 PM |
Had trouble with the flare fitting leaking on my under dash ac unit, only flare fitting left on the car was on the low side of the evaporator, found some cone shaped washers on ebay put 1 on, and it fixed the problem.
Paint & Body » Fitting rear bumper on a 65 coupe » 5/13/2017 9:01 PM |
I've got a brand new rear bumper and brackets, fits good along the rear, but terrible at the quarter panels, it's turned down and does not fit even with the quarter extensions, added a couple shims, looks better, does anyone have a better way to make it fit right
Paint & Body » Installing 2013 Roush seats in a 65 coupe » 3/12/2017 6:44 PM |
I have a beautiful set of 2013 Roush electric seats to put in my 65 coupe, anything in particular I need to know and what about the wiring for the driver's side, also will the rear seats fit and how big of issue are they to install
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Wiring » 1/25/2017 8:38 PM |
I need to run several wires through the firewall on the passenger side of a 65 coupe, where is the best place to drill a hole and get them in the car
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Some pics of 54 F100 project » 1/05/2017 5:48 PM |
I have a 64 1/2 coupe with a stock 289 with ac and an electric cooling fan, I would like to have a real sending unit for the fan instead of the tube that goes in the upper radiator hose, is there another way other than having the radiator fitted for a sending unit, like maybe a t -stat housing off a 390, it looks like a sensor would go right in it
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Front swaybar » 7/05/2013 5:11 AM |
The swaybar appears to be just a little bit to narrow not sure of the brand it was bought so long ago if both links angle towards the oil pan I will do something different, after checking, it is a 1 1/8th bar
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Front swaybar » 7/04/2013 3:49 PM |
Is it common when putting a bigger swaybar on the front of a 65 coupe with a 289 and 1 inch lowered springs to have to trim the front rails for clearance? The rails look like they were trimed for the stock swaybar, the new bar is a 1inch bar and it's going to need more clearance is this normal?
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Auto transmission leak » 6/14/2013 1:14 AM |
My 65 coupe that I'm trying to finish this month, it's been almost a 3 year project, leaks transmission fluid, it looks like one leak is at the speedometer cable and the other where the nuetral safety switch or whatever that flat, round looking thing is called, are there O rings in both locations, it's just a 3 speed, not sure what model it is, Thanks Jeff
