I have tail lights like that and there is a switch on each light to make it left or right sequence. Only one way to wire it correctly then click the switch.

My son was at that event with his boss from a summer job. His boss ran a 68 mustang coupe 186 mph. Not sure what motor he has but it is twin turbo and 1000 bhp. Can't imagine being in that car at those speeds! Great video, enjoyed it. Thanks for posting.

I like it! MS what is your opinion on the width of the IFS and wheel appearance/fitment ? I was thinking of going this route on my 56 F-100.

Looks nice, not too over the top in my book. However it will need paint? Why don't you want to repair the hood?

Jkebob thx, the pipe I used was from an 80' s econoline and doesn't have the angle. I see from your pic that with the angle at the end of the tube you get a little more reach which helps clear the pump. I ended up rotating the tube 180 and threading the sender up from the bottom. Lots of room that way.

What type of steering are you using? How does the Ford pump work with it?

I also, see that you have cast manifolds with cable clutch. Are they HiPo? Any clearance issues?

Thx

Does it matter which way the sender is oriented? Can I install it up from the bottom? Connector down to the ground.

All, BB

66 coupe with 5.0' EFI and serpentine setup from 88  TBird.

I am having an issue with the sender interfering with the back of the power steering pump (original Ford). I was using the 66 sender to work with my factory guage, now that I am adding the Borgeson PS I am installing the pump it interferes. I have the Ford extension tube with a 90 not the 45. I assumed that a 45 adapter would give me the clearance that I need, but it isn't enough.

Has anyone else had this issue with the PS pump and sender? Is there a smaller package sender available?

I can add another tube but more connections, ugly and more possible leaks and further interference with header .....

Any help and pics would be appreciated.

Thx

S69, I am at this point in my Borg install. (looking for hoses and pump) I am planning on using the 5.0 pump and AN fittings. I may go the BB route and use a set of Ford hoses and just have one end adapted. I am curious to see what you end up using. This link may help with the fitting size.

Ron68 thx, does the taller deck on the 351 give that extra clearance? About how much clearance do,you have over the box?

S69, this is from about a year ago. It's a bit cleaner now, but I have the header off and the master cylinder is out.

I emailed Stan at ford powertrain applications FPR, they have a long tube that works with borgeson box. Has anyone used them? How do they work with MS cable clutch and T5?

MS
I am running American Racing Torque Thrust M 7" wide with 4" BS 235 45 17 with the late model brakes and your gt2008-ft brackets. 12.5" rotors 2009 GT takeoffs. No issues with clearance.

Triton, thx. The rear are the 94 era Ford wheels, 8" with 5.75 BS or about. on a fox 8.8 rearend that is about 2" wider so the backspace works out, but it's tight on the outside. I believe 245 45 17. The front are torque thrust II or M can't remember and are 7" wide with 4" BS. I would go to 4.25-4.5" BS if was doing it again. 235.45 17 I think.  Not home this week or I would run out and look. Both front and rear look very close but if you are looking for it you can spot the differences.

BB, do you know how the HiPo's work with a cable clutch T5?

Keith ,
I have the same setup and I used hard lines inside of the trunk for that exact reason. As others have stated, fuel hoses will seep that odor.
