The last thing I want to do is start a worm hole, so I will vent the oil fill cap. The for the explaination!

Do I need to run a breather style oil fill cap on my 1969 302? I have the pcv on the one valve cover and now it has a sealed cap on the other side. Thanks guys..

Good thoughts, I did make sure the stops are correct and they look stock, no customafacations. I'll fix the one side like to said and see if that helps, it almost feels ,looks like the power sterring ram is preventing the full turn to the left. I got the steering from chock-o so I believe it is right. I stood there and watched the  guy align the car, he is an old school mustang guy too so I think that is correct.  

I had the alignment done to the spec's on this site, it has the stock V8 spindles, C5DA.
 

My 65 with 1 inch lowering front springs, 620#  and shelby drop
5 leaf stock ride rear springs
7x15 american racing wheels 4 inch back space
225-60-15 front
235-60-15 rear
I just put the rear leafs on, I'm hoping they settle a bit about 3/4 of an inch is what I hoping for if not I will have to through some weight in the trunk! LOL!

Yes the originals are 4 leaf.
The new ones raised the car 1 3/4 inches after a short test drive. (15 3/4" from center of rim to wheel opening)
My guess is they will settle a bit more and it should end up right where I wanted them.
The ride is a bit stiffer but not bad, better then my 1997 4x4 f 150.

Ok I got my new, 5 leaf, stock ride height Scott Drake leaf springs. But, when I set the new ones up next to the old stock ones I noticed the bolt that fits into the u-bolt/shock bracket mount is about 1/2 inch towards the rear of the car than the stock ones. See the attached photos. What do you think? Big deal or not? I cannot think of reason this would hurt the car to move the rear end back a 1/2 inch. I don't think it will be real noticable in the wheel opening and the driveshaft lenght should be ok. Looking for input, thanks

Yes, Go from the passenger rear the drivers rear, passenger front and then drivers front, take your time, i was suprised at how much air came out of a new system. when its done right the brakes feel great.
