It might be just me but when I look at the picture of the engine it appears to have been rode hard and put away wet.
I sure would have a more detailed inspection before purchasing.

I'll take my little bore scope and some tools with me to look inside of the cylinders.  Either way, if it's a real 351C Boss engine and the price is right, I'll buy it.

Cool.

NPD has them for $33.00 ea.  Why not just buy them rather than spending days researching?  You could have had them by now and installed.

Hi BILLY, I put a vacuum can in my 66 in 04 for the same reason.  I got it from Summit for about $50. It came with the check valve mentioned by TKO and has worked great. Hope this helps.  Part # CRN-99590-1

How many friggin' Bobs are there on this site? Dayum.

I've got a Thursday car guy coffee group of about 8 guys I attend, of which 4 are named Bob.

Billy, you tube has a plethora of carb tuning videos based on your carb. What carburetor do you have?

Close. Bullet had a  mechanical pump which he removed when he went back to a stock cam. He sent me his old pump a couple of weeks ago.

Oh, but they are graded. And you are doing quite well. The auto correct features have made poor grammar out of many of my posts.

I'll use any vehicle specific website before trying FB auto pages. My experience has been that FB attractes yahoos who want to answer a question whether or not if they are knowledgeable about the topic. Tell your Y-block block buddy that

You should be able to get an angle finder reading on the yoke without dropping the driveshaft.
I suggest checking both sides of the yoke to verify the readings are the same.  There could be some machining differences between the two sides.
Also, check the angle reading on the floor surface where ever you're taking these redings.

Good advice.

Is that you heater core or AC evaporator?
After reading a plethora of stories about new heater cores failing, I pressure tested mine before install.

YOU, pay for an alignment? C'mon Steve. You gotta have the tools to do an alignment, it's easy peasy. A digital level and some string is about all you need.

His pinion yoke shows pointed up, and just under 5° to my eyes, which is about twice what I think it should be. The trans reads 0°, but should be pointed down.
