So Here are just a couple of the thousand pics of my 65 mustang that I purchased about 7yrs ago. I bought it as a "previously restored" driver. Later to find out that Bondo, Brillo pads, and super tape were hidden below a bright red paint job. I also found that the frame rails were aluminum riveted to the floor pan and the floors were little more than newspaper fiber glassed and undercoated. So off came the cherry bombs, the air shocks and the lightning bolt static strips.. and she went under the knife. The bottom pic is what remained after removing all the cancer. and I am approximately 2 wks from paint. New floor pans, quarter panels, trunk, aprons, rockers, torque boxes, frame rails, etc. Rebuilt the factory 8" with a locker, rebuilt the 289 a little more stout than stock.. a new engine to come when funds allow. Fiberglass trunk lid with spoiler, shaved firewall. I must say I am rather proud of the process. I have re-upholstered the interior, rebuilt window regulators. Cobra rear disc brakes thanks to mustang steve, fox body booster, and gt brakes soon to come. I'll post graphic pics of the cancer here an there to show where she came from. 50 yrs of maine winters and Salt were definitely not kind

Thanks for the responses I really appreciate the help. This car has been a labor of love for about 7yrs and is finally nearing paint. I'm getting to the point of doing the brakes and need to order the mustang steve front kit no, and wanted to verify spindles. I'll get the numbers and check back.
