I remember that thread but don't remember who made the heads.  I think you found that info on SpeedTalk.  I've found a couple sets of 185's for sale, used, need work which means by the time you pay for a valve job, etc you could have bought a new set.  I am in no big hurry on this thing as I haven't even talked with the machine shop yet.

I have a E303 cam, but I am leaning towards getting Ken at Delta Cams to custom grind a cam for me.  This motor will never see a drag strip or nitros, at least as long as I own it.  I am also not planning on replacing the C4 or 8" rear, at least until I shell it.  All I want is a good, strong, streetable 347 that can bust the occasional rice rocket.  I also don't want to go at this like killing snakes and then say "wow, I wish I had done that..............."

I'm collecting parts to build a 347 and need a good set of heads.  Does anyone have any experience with these Roush heads?  I would really like a set of AFR's 185's but deals seem to be few and far between on these heads.

Nice clean installation, but needs one more bungee cord to even things out.

It CAN be bad if untreated and left sitting for a long time.  I am attempting to upload a pic of ethanol I removed from a buddy's boat, hope the pic works.

Redneck tree house.

I can see it now...

If you got an old Ford up in a tree in your backyard,  your grandfather might have been a redneck!

They probably found it while mowing the grass and just had to move it somewhere, the tree was good as any.  I've seen this with my own eyes.........down around Cairo Ga, a small mobile home up a tree.

We sell about 25 of those cans a week at West Marine.  We also get about 24 returns a week because they wont work, then the person goes and buys the blue water can and walks out the door with a working can that they can re-mark for gas.
