The above Mustangs were sorta 'shunned' by alotta the Mustang guys for a bunch of reasons.
Therefore...they don't draw the $$$ as the classic 65-66-67-68-69-70 "real Mustangs" !
I guess its a matter of...'what toots your whistle...trips your trigger...rings your bell..etc'.
Personally I always sorta liked the way they look (like a Mustang that got wet and shrank) OR
like the Opel GT that resembles a shrunk Vett (I REALLY dig those)
The under-loved Mustangs could use some up-grades to make it more appealing to the Die-Hard-Haters.
THIS......makes me like'm plenty more !! (How bout cha'll )

Why did you pull the engine ??!.....(I may have forgotten)
That will really simplify the trans swap and some of the AC stuff too...and the waring.
How "healthy" IS the engine BTW? 400 HP and the T-5 may not be very happy (jus say'in!)
Nice looking ride BTW........

FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Wagner PCV installed » 6/13/2025 7:18 PM |
Do y'all remember ol' Rich (Red Boss 351)that was a member on here for years ?! (passed several years ago )
He once posted that there ARE indeed different PVCs for SBF engines. One size doesn't fit all(well...it will butt it shouldn't)
A PCV valve for a stocker 2-barrel 289 has a much different vacuum signature than a Boss 302 (for instance) ! Yet the PCV will interchange with both.
I think a PCV for a boss 302 or HiPo 289 would be a better fit for a cammed-up/high(er) performance engine than just the first one Oh-Oh-Oh Rielly hands ya !
The kicker is.............Rich did the research and listed the PCV (part #) for the Hi-Po 289 . Therefore...I forgot it !!
Prolly a little research of numbers would indicate the best PCV for your engine vs the high zoot Wagner nobodys tried...

I have some items for the Swap page, but I'm afraid that shipping would kill me.
When I swapped out the stock 14" wheels on my 65 for a set of 15" Styled Steel wheels, I ended up with 5 14" early Ford wheels. I cleaned them up really well and painted them black. Last Saturday, I took them to a very big swap meet and posted a price of $275 for the complete set.
Will try the local market on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace next and see if I get any responses. Wish me luck.
50 bucks will send them on their way (outta your garage and a sweeet deal for another FoMoCo guy)

The new radiator arrive just before lunch time. I bought a fail safe thermostat but it wouldn't fit inside the stainless steel thermostat housing I bought. So I went against my better judgement and put the one we just pulled back in and it was opening and closing at different temperatures where the temp gauge would sit right at 190. I knew I should've just went back to the store before we put it all back together. Good news is it not sits steady again at 190.
Also my ASM four point seat belts came in today. We also got them installed. As sad as it was to have to fix everything again, me and my son agreed it was nice to be working on it together so it wasn't all bad. I'll see if the shop can align it tomorrow. We have it pretty close, enough to drive and not tear up the tires.
By the looks of your seats I can see you haven't indulged in any aggressive driving !

We park Mustangs at our church during Mustang Week here at the beach. (It's a major Mustang deal!)
We have room for roughly 200 cars.
A couple of "establishments" have events(burnout pit...live music and such) and we park some of the overflow..
The 3 nights we parked Mustangs there were a total of....'wait-for-it'...3 classics ! (4 if you count mine!
Mine sounded the best !!...All the rest had that buzzy rice-burner OHC whirrr! Sure there were a bunch of turbos and coyotes butt they didn't sound like real Mercuh arn ! (Rant over!)
So get use to it fellas the real Mustangs are driven mostly by old guys who get out less & less.....
