Have questions on headers and exhaust, 1969, 302, C4, PS, Fastback.I have set of 4 tube FPA headers ordered. Purchased JBA 40-2650 exhaust, going to replace JBA mufflers with Dynomax 17733 (2 1/2 in and out way quieter). Not sure on what to use to connect headers and exhaust.  Do I buy a JBA H-Pipe 6610SH and modify it to fit or purchase 2 1/2 ss tubing from Summit racing and do without a crossover? Has anyone used this setup or something similar? Any thoughts, suggestions, experiences would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ed

1969 Mustang 4-bolt upper ball joints, had some looseness I noticed when changing trans fluid, filter and adding 1qt deeper pan. Cant find torque on bolts that attach upper ball joint to upper control arm. Replaced these back in the 80's cant remember what brand. Got new Moog and definitely are better made than what is there presently.

Getting ready to change transmission fluid / filter on 1969 C4. Would like to go to a deeper pan. I noticed that 1970 and up Mustang II and broncos used a deeper pan along with a extended pickup filter. Will / would there be a problem of not having an extended pickup if I went with a deeper pan without the extended filter? I cant find a extended pickup filter  to fit the 1969 valve body, just the 1970 and up.

I started out with a Retrosound model 1. Just replaced it with a Retrosound Malibu. Fit and finish is outstanding. Also added a Retrosound Quad 4 amp, put two tweeters in the old dash speaker frame. Have 4 x 6 coaxial  speakers aftermarket kick panels and have 6 x 9's in a trap door that I got with holes already cut. All installed in a 69 Fastback. The new amp really wakes up the radio. Crutchfield is where I bought the radio ($259.00) and the amp ($119.00).

I used the peel and seal product 8 years ago on my 69 Fastback. Have had no problems whatsoever. No smell, no peeling, no oozing. Also I put back all replacement factory type matting for x tra sound proofing / heat resistance. I can now carry on a conversation at highway speeds with very little road noise and my feet no longer burn up on long trips from the headers and exhaust.
