I have a 67 coupe. A 72 302 and a 66 4 speed T10. This is a conversion that I am doing. Problem #1: Upper clutch rod does not seem to fit. Bought from Mustangs unlimited. Problem #2: Lower clutch adjustment rod seems to be to long. Also wants to hit my Tri"Y" headers. All in all, it has been an experience. Starting from scratch and putting all the pieces together. Every time you turn a corner it is something else. Looking for any help or advice. I can't be the only one to come across this?

Thanks Bolted to Floor. Tinkering? Well, it does take up some time. I work on the one that grabs me at that momment. Try a web search for NS3Racing (case sensative?) I do have lots of pics of the projects in progress, as well as some of my sons outlaw winged 500cc open kart races. I always have something to do and like to help friends on their projects as well.

I love the color. Orange has always been a favorite hot rod color for me. Had an orange 68 Firebird in high school. The color has always stuck with me.

Looking to install a new vinyl top on my green 67 coupe. What is the best surface prep to do on it. The current roof looks great except for little tiny (bubbles, but not really bubbles) I will need to prep or repaint before this will be done. Do I just epoxy primer, and or paint? Do I scuff  the surface? Thanks for your advice.

I have changed from an auto to a 4 speed. I have a few starters, but do not know how to tell if any are for a stick. Motor is a 1972 302 hooked up to a 1966 T-10 4 speed.

Wondering how the power steering lines are routed with the Tri-Y headers. Under the headers or over the headers and between the bolck?

67 Mustang, 1972 302 with a T10 4 speed tranny. Equalizer bar installed, but not sure if the right one. Looking for dimensions. Also looking for a picture of the correct upper and lower rods. Have misc. parts in a bin from the swap meet. The equalizer bar hits the Tri-Y headers at the attachment point of the lower rod. What should I do? Shave some of the equalizer bar back, dent the headers?

1967 Mustang. Under hood wiring harness. Is there something better to wrap a harness with other than electrical tape? Electrical tape does get messy after time. If electrical tape, which is best?

Not sure, but we just added a set of 17 x 8 2006 Bullit wheels. Tire are 235/50ZR17 rear and fronts are 215/45R17. 1 1/2 inch spacer/adapters. They just touch our upper control arms. So I have to address that. Other than that they fit and look great. Front has 620 springs and 1" Shelby drop. The car is a 67 with Granada disks out front. Tried to load a picture, but no luck.........
