I know I have weird wheel tastes, but I would keep the stock wheels and have them powder-coated. Maybe a warm cream color. I have seen white LOBO wheels and thought they looked cool. It is a mini truck, hopefully more 5x108 wheels come out.
Looks like a lot of Ferraris had 5x108 wheels…
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Radiator with front mounted fan » 7/24/2025 4:56 PM |
I run a pusher fan on my 67’ Toyota. Sometimes it is the only option when your engine bay is the size of a kitchen drawer. Some fans are set up to be pushers or pullers. I am running a VW Scirocco style fan made by Flex-A-Lite. Never had issues overheating but the fan does run a lot in hot slow moving conditions. Trippy thing was that Flex-A-Lite directs you to flip the fan blades over for pusher applications. They want the leading edge of the blade to be the leading edge, for most efficient movement of air and least noise.
I agree to avoid it at all costs, but sometimes it is the only option.

Oddly enough there are a few imposters reposting your distributor video as their own on Facebook…

Best video I have seen on pattern. I’d call your pattern good. I’d maybe put the pinion in a little deeper. Looks like your drive pattern was further out than your coast.

If you live by a track with a teen car control clinic or something similar sign up the grandkids when the time comes. 100% worth it.

Dust, a bumper crop of dust. Hatched 14 chickens this year and they lived in the garage till they were 5 weeks old. Made an incredible amount of dust.

My guess is $100 parts, $1400labor for two guys 1/2 day with travel time.
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » AFR Wideband for tuning carb » 3/12/2025 12:58 PM |
Yes and yes.
I have a carb cheater which is like a wideband with the ability to self tune (within limits).
I also have a wideband rigged up to a cigarette lighter so it can be swapped from vehicle to vehicle for tuning.

I have a Mike Maier Panhard rod in mine. If you do the trig with a 35” long horizontal rod with 4” of total travel (2” up/ 2” down) pretty reasonable for a road car with stiff suspension) the side to side movement is a whopping 1/16”.
Watts link is cool, but not work the trouble imho on a street car.
I’d say the most noticeable thing is the reduction of the “post burnout wigwag” for lack of better terms. If you mash your foot into the go pedal and get sideways when you lift and the tire speed matches the road there is less of a side to side wiggle when you get traction. It feels more secure. No hard evidence but I do believe they make a positive performance improvement.
Exhaust routing is challenging. Find a great exhaust shop or install downturn dumps before the axle.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
