I think Day's system uses a slave cylinder for a t5, no hydraulic bearing needed.

I kinda thought so.  I'm out.

Thanks BB.  Hard to keep all you Bobs apart.  Next thing I know one of you is my uncle.
To recap I have the Daze bracket for the clutch master cylinder if I do decide to go the hydraulic route.  Where does this release bearing fit in or is there something else?

Maybe.  I don't have a motor.  It will be a small block.  I don't have a tranny butt I could when the second stimulus check lands.  I do have the Daze bracket for mounting what ever goes on  it.  Is the part you have needed for what I am doing?  BTW I haven't gotten around to going through the Mustang Monthly you sent me.

That will make gear shifts sound like the ones in Ford Vs Ferrari?  Asking for a friend.

Try Spintech.  https://spintechmufflers.com.  They make a side exhaust for Mustangs.  Looks like it needs an X or H pipe.

Didn't do anything to the '69 but the '99 daily driver got new tahrs and springs and shocks.  And an oil change and brake fluid flush.

I was following an up in the air black pick up one day.  I'm pretty sure it was a Dodge Ram because in shiny silver letters on the tail gate it spelled RAM.  After getting my sight back I noticed that the license plate read, HEMILY.  Now I was confused.  In the long standing practice of of referring to cars and boats and things as female was the owner trying to be clever or was the owner's name Emily and she was adept in word play?  By the way the truck did have a Hemi in it.  If your blonde friends name is Emily under the right circumstances she could make me write bad checks.  Just sayin'.

Nice!  So, is that cable actuated?

Yes.  Cable connects inside the rectangular bit at the bottom right in the first picture.  Cable can either be locking or non locking.

Combining the top part of a 1969 hood latch and a '80s Ford Econoline locking cable bottom half.

It's too hot here today and I can find the modded hood latch or the disc that has the pictures butt on my '69 I took a '69 hood latch and a locking hood latch from a mid '80s Ford van.  The van latch will bolt right in butt the release arm is too short to be accessed in the normal way therefor I cut and spliced the two together.  Top half '69, bottom half van.  Cable is routed into the interior and the lock end mounted under the dash.  Photos were put on Photobucket.  They might exist in the old Forum.  If anyone can get in they should be there.

1963 Galaxie  I posted pics of car and motor on 10/9/2016.  Can't figure out how to move pic to here.  I can see that motor in the back seat of a Falcon hooked up to a 1966 GT 40 MK II trans axle.
OK no more Falcon pics for BB.

Back to the 50s that is.  If you ever have to do another Falcon.  With proper motivation of course.

A side note on prepping for a wrap.  I was watching one of those car programs that manage to do things that we wouldn't do so we don't have to and ther's a gut with a heat gun warming up the clear coat AND HE'S PEELING IT OFF!  IN A BIG SHEET!  I couldn't believe it.  I don't know what that says about the quality of factory paint.

If you're going through Billings you can coin toss for 90 or 94.  94, next stop Fargo butt then Minneapolis.  By then all the riff raff from this weekends Big Annoyance will be gone.  People seem to like the Mall of America although the last time I was there was just to go to Sears and pick up a snow blower.  We have lakes and other stuff to see.  90 will get to to the cool stuff like the Badlands.  Next stop Chicago.  Either 90 or 94 will hook up with 35 and that will get you to Kansas City.  Have a safe trip.  Go for the Gold.
