Hey guys, not trying to change the subject. I was just wondering if heavy duty aluminum foil could be used along with a regular gasket to help curb heat transfer to the carb from the manifold?

I put Autometer gauges in my 66, works great. I don't know how much difference there is between a 66 and 67 bezel but this link shows how I did mine. http://www.tm66mustang.com/photo_album6.html

Those are nice.  I'm planning on that for my 65 but I have the older wide-sweep dash like the Falcon so I'll have to cogitate on the wiring.

Thanks, jkordzi.

Very nice, great job ... I think it would be cleaner to leave the "Shaker" name off the side, just saying.

Or maybe put engine size on it, I put 393 stroker on mine.
Looks good T.

Sal, when you click on the link it brings up a download page. There is a little red arrow in the lower left corner of the page. Right click on it and a drop down box should appear. Click on (open link in new window) and let it download. See if that works, unless you already did it that way.

This winter it got a new shaker hood, new front coil springs and new leaf springs.  I used all Scott Drake parts!  Progressive front coils and mideye 4 1/2 leaf rear springs!  I believe I have fixed my front end problems.  More testing is needed

Looks great T! Need more pics though. Would like to see a pic of it from the driver seat.

Hey T, I sanded the black paint off of the tops of all those ribs on top of the scoop, breaks up all the black look. I think it looks better that way but that's just my opinion. Just wanted to make the suggestion.

I just installed the Total Control rack and pinion,  Hate losing the front cross member for an easy place to jack up the entire front end.

Those of you who have installed the rack how to you go about easily jacking up the front?

I have the stock steering in my '66, made a bar that fits on my floor jack that allows me to raise the front of the car by placing the bar under the front frame rails. After jacking it up, I can place jack stands under each end of the bar to allow for removal of the jack. Go to link and scroll down.  http://www.tm66mustang.com/photo_album3.html

I put a GPS speed o in my '66, and I like it. It has a built in 0 - 60 mph in seconds and 1/4 mile speed and time. Go to this link and scroll down to it to see how I installed it.

The car made the video great.  Very nice Terry.  Can I get an autograph???

Well, I wasn't present during any of the filming. All I did was show Brock how to drive the car and he had a professional filming group make the video.
