Hey guys, not trying to change the subject. I was just wondering if heavy duty aluminum foil could be used along with a regular gasket to help curb heat transfer to the carb from the manifold?

Those are nice. I'm planning on that for my 65 but I have the older wide-sweep dash like the Falcon so I'll have to cogitate on the wiring.
Thanks, jkordzi.

Or maybe put engine size on it, I put 393 stroker on mine.

Sal, when you click on the link it brings up a download page. There is a little red arrow in the lower left corner of the page. Right click on it and a drop down box should appear. Click on (open link in new window) and let it download. See if that works, unless you already did it that way.

Hey T, I sanded the black paint off of the tops of all those ribs on top of the scoop, breaks up all the black look. I think it looks better that way but that's just my opinion. Just wanted to make the suggestion.

I just installed the Total Control rack and pinion, Hate losing the front cross member for an easy place to jack up the entire front end.
Those of you who have installed the rack how to you go about easily jacking up the front?
I have the stock steering in my '66, made a bar that fits on my floor jack that allows me to raise the front of the car by placing the bar under the front frame rails. After jacking it up, I can place jack stands under each end of the bar to allow for removal of the jack. Go to link and scroll down.

Well, I wasn't present during any of the filming. All I did was show Brock how to drive the car and he had a professional filming group make the video.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
