I did rhino guard first, then fatmat. I was looking for a couple of different layers to break up noise and vibration

I have OP roller spring perches and couldn’t be happier. I noticed by changing to roller perches there a smoother road feel and more responsive in the curves. I want to add roller upper and lower control arms too, just have to pinch my pennies a while longer. Great people, great service before and after the sale. If you like twists, turns and hills, I would recommend OP. Very solid and quality products.

Thanks All!
I will install the larger MS sway bar. Later I will ask santa for a larger set of wheels to cut down potential sway. Hard to find quality stuff in a 15".

Stuck? As in toes stuck in the sand? Or you were stuck in a luau? I hear those can be painful. Look at what they do to a pig!

All,
Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot to mention the car has a straight Monte Carlo bar, factory export brace and factory manual disc brakes. Two questions, since Ithe car has a factory 7/8" sway bar, will a 1" sway bar really help? I would understand going from the wimpy non-GT 1/2" one to a greater size. Also, since there are traction masters in the back does that negate the need for a sway bar?

On my '65 GT fastback, I have the following:
Suspension
7/8" sway bar original
Rubber sway bushing
Arning Drop
Daze Alignment
620 front springs
Roller spring perches
End links with polyurethane bushing
Rear shock bilstein 55-R056
Front shock 55-R054 street
Four leaf stock springs rear
Traction Master traction bars
Pirelli four seasons 215/60R15 to 32lbs cold on steel style wheels

I have too much body roll in the corners and am looking to correct this issue. Car is spiritedly driven i.e. Hard.
I think first step is new bushings in sway bar and end links. Then stiffer bilsteins? Suggestions please? Not trying to reinvent the car just fix the body roll. Steering is tight and box close ratio andrebuilt by Mustang Barn.
Thanks

One other to check is to clock the bell housing. There's a write up in the mustang manual (red for mine) under the chapter for clutches. Very important when using new components.

I too used peel and stick - fatmat then foil backed bubble insulation. No heat from above. Now about that big magnifying glass on the rear - that's another story!

Well I like the George designs along with his other stuff. It was wild, custom and in your face. Of course I like the custom vans of that era, Monkee Mobile and all the other strange stuff!

After comparing a $19 adaptor to a $3 genuine NHL approved puck - I am cutting a slot in the puck! No offence to hockey fans but you do what you gotta do!

Thank you everyone for your input, this helps me to understand better what's going on. For now I will leave it alone. Eventually would like to get back into open track.
Thanks all!

Good Evening All,
On my stock '65 fastback there are a set four leaf springs and a set of Traction Master traction bars. As I understand it, the traction bars puts the rear axle in a bind. So would replacing the polyurethane bushing with a set of roller bearings improve this or make it worse?
thank you

Boom,
You can get seat belt retractors but be careful as they snap back fast and hit the door!

I had a similar problem and it was the length of the end links.
Changed the end links for a stock set which turned out to shorter than the ones I had causing the problem.
All is much better now.

DBrown,
I will trade you my new 200 mile Bilstein street shocks for a set of Bilstein sport. Street ride is firm and good, I just like throwing my mustang into the corners a little more than some others and would like to upgrade to the next level.
Thanks

Al,
I have a set of 15" steel style wheels with Pirelli 215/60R15 and lots of meat and no clearance issues. Let me know if you want to work a trade. I may want to change.
