I'm using tri-wye with a T-5

Has anyone swapped over to a foot pedal parking brake for their 65, 66? I would like to do this but all the foot pedals I see a very large.

I have an aftermarket fuel gauge and a stainless fuel sender with a good float and a 1970 22 gallon fuel tank. The gauge works but the levels of fuel are off such as the gauge reads full when the tank is only 3/4s full. After pulling the sender out and bench testing it I noticed that the float arms length goes to full at about the height of 3/4s of a tank. It seems that the float arm should be a couple of inches longer to compensate for the 22 gallon tank. The float arm seem that it would work well for the smaller 16 gallon tank. I notice that fuel senders without the low fuel light are sold as 1965 to 1970 units. I am thinking of extending the float arm a couple of inches to create better arch of the float for the taller 22 gallon tank. Has anyone had this issue?

I welded sheet metal and supports into mine, I think that along with sub-frame connectors help to stop the cracking of the quarter panel at the side window post

I got some old tools from my grand father and some engine brackets that I think were from his old Galaxy 500. Does anybody know what this hammer was for?

My steel divider is fully welded in, I have added frame stiffeners and other things one at a time. I could definitely tell a little less flexing of the uni-body when cornering with the divider. The best addition i did was the Global West frame rail which stopped the dash shake. I think it even helps the cracking or shearing of the b post at the quarter panel as well.

If I pull the pistons to change the rings what is the best brand ring to use and how do I order the size. I know I will they will need to be gapped

You have to be careful of what type of extinguisher you use in over the road vehicles because the extinguishing agent can pack down from the vibrations. When you charge the extinguisher for use it won't fluidize the extinguishing agent expel the contents.

BobE, I have the wiring diagrams but they don't tell me the exact location of what colored wire goes where on the plug!

I am working on a friends 66 with two speed wipers (going to put in intermittents), the POV removed his wiper motor plug wires from the connector. I can plug them back in but I don't know which color wire goes to which terminal. He found a new wiper pigtail he could buy but it's $75.00. As you might guess all of the older cars in the junk yards are gone, the wiper connector is the same but I think Ford changed the wire colors. Didn't really want to wait till spring when the swap meets start. The plug in the picture is from my old 1 speed wiper motor but if I had a picture like that for the 2 speed connections I'd be in business.
Edit: The wiring diagrams show the wiring colors and we have located all the wires just need to know where to put them
