Thanks y'all. Those part numbers helped a lot. And my plan we to replace both sides. Found a few on the passenger side that are about to fall off as well.

I'm missing two letters from my "MUSTANG" lettering on the driver side front fender. I ordered what I thought was the correct part, but I was wrong. Anyone got the correct part number before I try again? I have the individual holes drill from the factory for each letter. The current letters are taped/glued on. Guess that's why they fell off at some point. Thanks guys.

Was doing a 1960 F100 project. But due to a baby coming and a big move coming as well. Have to terminate this project. I do have the whole truck up for sale on Craiglist. Figured I would offer up the 8.8 here. $250.

Ya I've pondered this question. Won't be welding any alum. Most of the welding will be on this truck. Sheet metal and anything on the frame I'm sure.

New to welding, in fact learning as we speak.  I am in search of feedback on which welder will fit my needs.  I recently bough a 1960 Ford F100 which will require some welding.  Just don't want to have buyers remorse, but I also don't want to go over board either.  I know this is a loaded question.  Kinda like EFI or Carb!!!! lol

MS...that looks beautiful!!!! I was gonna pick your brain when it comes time for brakes. I see that booster and master cylinder. What's the info on that set up?

Thanks TKO. The engine is just a short block. I'll probably swap that to a carb. He has an Edlebrock intake and a carb as parts. Those are included. As far as the swap, that would be on me. It's an unmolested frame. The truck currently has the 6cyc and 3 speed in it. He has the parts, but not installed.

Ya Rudi, it does sound like a good catch.  Can't wait to go look at it and see it in person.  Always tells a different story.

Going to look at a 1960 Ford F-100 on Thursday.  Body looks good from the pics.  He has the following items that haven't been installed.  Was asking yalls thoughts on the project, meaning will these parts work on this truck.  Im also doing some research today.  Parts he has to install:

06 Crown Vic IFS
00 Explorer 8.8 with 3.73 gears and disk brakes ( although he listed the truck having a 9in with 3.70 gears)

Engine wise, he has a 5.0 short block from an 87 mustang with a T5 (im going to rebuild all that anyways)

The truck currently has a 223 I6 with 3 speed on the tree.  And for $1500 for everything the guys owns, price is pretty good.  Mainly just wanting advise on the Crown Vic swaps on these trucks.  Ive always wanted to rebuild an old truck. Really ready to have another project!! Thanks for yalls input on this matter.  I know its not mustang related, but yall are always my go to on tech questions.

Hey guys and gals!! I haven't posted in a long time!! Hope everyone is doing great.  Last October I got some new wheels and tires for the stang.  Got some Torq Trust II wheels.  Fronts are 17x7 4inch BS with 215/45ZR17.  Rears are 17x8 4.75inch BS with 245/45ZR17  I have  a 1966 Fastback.  All suspension is 3 years old.  I am getting tire rub out of my rear when I hit certain bumps.  Any help or suggestions?  Rear springs are 4.5 leaf mid-eye springs.

Not sure if he's OK or just really busy. I know it took me a long time to make contact with him. But my box works great. Great work, just took a long time. It I remeber correctly, last year he was sick. I hope he's doing ok. Anyone else???

Steve,

I've got an OEM plate from a 91 mustang. Only cause that's what year my tranny is. I'm also using the 91 bellhousing and 157 tooth flywheel.

Steve, you got a chance to use my pic of the TO bearing. Lol. Just to add my two cents....mine is a heavy pedal. I tried everything. So far I've got over 1000 miles with this set up. I've gotten use to the heavy pedal effort. Well worth it!! Love the T5.

I'm doing an AC compressor replacement for my mother in laws car. How do I to about evacuating the current r134a in the system? I have a set of manifold gauges with a vac pump. I've got all the parts. I know it illegal to release this stuff in the atmosphere. Should I take it to someone to evac and collect the freon? Or is there a container I can capture this stuff in and take it to someone. Thanks.

I think you got the mounts on backwards. That's a lot of room between the engine and the firewall. Even without your bellhousing on, it's still a lot of room. My setup looks like BobE

I just put 4.5 mid-eye leafs on mine. The rear measures 12.5 inches from lip to center on wheel.

You think these wheels would fit my 66 mustang?  Tires are a 245/45/17 all around on a stock 02 GT wheel.
