Have you checked out the Mustangs To Fear headliners?  They are the original makers of this peice.  TMI's first version had bubbling issues but I hear thats fixed.  MTF will be having a sale in early January and has an overhead console version.  You will find superior customer service  from MTF

The upcoming issue of Modified Mustangs & Fords magazine should have an article on Rusty's Dynacorn build that includes a fabricated hood release from inside the car.

This is a post I contributed to about Mustangs To Fears headliner which I have and love.  TMI came out second with one and had some serious issues that I am not sure they have corrected yet.

Basements are pretty typical for this area.  I do not know how many did not have basements but I  assume thats how the loss of life was zero otherwise I can only imagine lives would have been lost.  One couple had new furniture in the basement they wanted to dig out.  Lets hope these next few weeks are dry ones.

I have yet to see pics like these in the news.  The news crews were on the edge of the carnage.  I did not see any inside the damage zone on Monday.  The only people in the zone were residents and clean up crews and myself of course who technically was not supposed to be there.

I spend yesterday walking thru the wreckage, I have never seen anything like it. People were still in good spirits and everyone helping each other out.

Looks like a 69 in the wreckage

Pretty long build thread on the MTF 69 Coyote build.  I took pics when I was there last month but just saw this thread and there is no need to show mine as they did not come out so good.  Interesting they make their own mufflers as well as the exhaust.

You have to register to read the threads.

Just got a call from the new alignment shop I took it to and the previous place was totally negligent. The problem is a loose pitman arm and lower ball joints on both sides. Once those get replaced I will get the correct specs done. I have no idea how things got so loose from when it seemed ok to now with very little driving in between.  Could be that driving it from place to place with it messed up caused some stress?

Tires are brand new.

I have another shop taking a look at it today.  This guy is actually going to drive it first before he does the alignment which is what a true alignment person should do.

I think I will go back again this week and request as much caster as I can get and go back to -.5 camber.  If that is still a problem then look into a bump steer kit.  Could be when I got the car it had lots of caster and I just forgot how hard it was to steer but it did not dart around like it does now.

I have had this car 7 years now and it drove just fine when I got it.  Over the years its been down most of the time but its ready to hit the road again with the last thing it needed was an alignment.  I have Granada disks and the Shelby drop done as that came with the car.  What I have done since I thought it drove fine was added adjustable strut rods from Rosehill performance and Roller perches.  On both my first attempt and todays attempt I am noticing the car is wandering down the road and jumping when I hit a bump.  I don't even enjoy driving it.

The alignment guy went from negative camber to positive and backed off the caster because I told him it was harder to steer now.  It did not work.

Here is the first attempt that was not good.
Left
Camber -0.3
Caster 1.9
Toe 0.23 radians. I asked for 1/16" to 1/8” toe in

Right
Camber -0.4
Caster 2.1
Toe 0.23 radians. I asked for 1/16" to 1/8” toe in

Here is todays attempt.

Left Side
Camber 0.6
Caster 0.7
Toe 0.24 radians. I asked for 1/16" to 1/8” toe in

Right Side
Camber 0.8
Caster 1.0
Toe 0.24 radians. I asked for 1/16" to 1/8” toe in

Both settings gave me the feeling of wandering and I still have bump steer. I could hear the tires squeal when i drove over the black sealant lines in the road. The sealant was probably flexible enough that when I hit that, the tires moved before I came back on solid pavement. I do remember with the first setting I could drive small circles in a parking lot and hear tire squealing and saw rubber left on the road.

I know I have to much positive camber now, I can visually see it. So I don't have much confidence if I met things halfway with another attempt it would be any better. The basic differences between the 2 alignments that did not work was I went from negative camber to positive and backed off the caster by a degree.

I have no idea what the settings were when I bought the car 7 years ago but none of these issu

The complete exhaust is avaliable from Mustangs to Fear,  its just that the site is not update to reflect this.  I was at the shop yesterday and took pics of his Coyote builds including the exhaust on a 69.

Here are some more updates as MTF installs the rear panels. The side panels are one piece now. This is a new part, I am the first car to get this one. Previously these one piece panels were only available with the rollbar option. The Trap door is an MTF part as well. I opted not to get the version with subwoofers.

I emailed you the full document but here is the location section only. Aftermarket chrome moulding comes with screws for when you have missing or broken studs so screws are an option

I actually have a 4 meg pdf file documenting the install of the front and rear glass as well as the location of the clips.  PM me with you email address.

I cannot take credit for the document,  I got it years ago from someone named Bob on this site and the clip location are for a 66 hardtop so maybe not quite what you need

Here are a few more photo updates. The MTF Dashpad is now in place along with the MTF headliner and the new console is getting mocked up. The Hurst shifter is going to have to be heated up and bent to a better angle. 2nd and 4th gear place the shifter way to low on the console to be comfortable and might even interfer with the lockar ebrake handle that will eventually be part of the console.

Next week the rear MTF panels should be in place and I can share those pics later

Thats a pretty good photo for a starting point using an IPAD.   You must be using an IPAD 2 because my IPAD 1 does terrible photos.  I heard the IPAD 2 is much better though
