Billie, I had same surgery 6 years ago and one thing I found that helped with the pain after the surgery, say month or so, is to wear an athletic supporter all the time except while sleeping.  Since the urinary tract is shorter now after removal of the prostate, the supporter keeps pulling of the urinary tract at minimum. Hope this helps and hope all goes well with the surgery...

On mine, I was able to mill an area in the cleaner base that cleared the part on the carb. My base had maybe 1/4  inch thickness there.  Hope info helps.

I have a question about some different tire dimensions.  What would the tire width be in fractions, not mm's between 215/60R15 and 225/60R15 tires.  Not the width of tread, but the widest part of the tires?  Thanks

I guess I don't understand what the length of the spring shackles has to do with the question I asked.

Anyone have 225-60-R15 tires on 8 inch wide rims and 4 1/2 backset  on a stock rear axle assy?  If so, do you have any rub problems on rear fenders?  Thanks

What is the maximum 15 inch tire size that can be used on the  '65/66 Mustangs rear, without rubbing the outer lip of rear quarter panel?  This would be with stock rear axle.

I am selling the complete rear axle assy. from my '65 Fastback.  It is from a "C" car with 5 lug axles and F code on the door tag which is a 2:80:to 1 limited slip diff.  Assy. includes emergency brake cables.  When I took it out, it had no noise.  It does need a pinion seal.  $350.  I live outside Springfield, Mo. 20+ miles from Branson.

Updating the price $300

I installed a 9" rear axle that was custom made and it had 3" tubes. I took a pair of 65 spring plates and had the holes welded shut. I then re-drilled the plates to fit the custom bent U- bolts that fit the 3" tubes.

good idea and thanks

Would someone have in your bone pile, a pair of lower rear spring plates, Ford basic number 5758, 5759 for a 3 inch tube rear differential?  Maybe older Ford car or light truck that used a 3-inch tube diff.  These are the ones that the rear shock attaches to.  I would send a picture of the ones I took off my '65, but I don't know how to do it.  Thanks

According to the tag on the door, F, it is 2.80: 1    I don't know if it was ever changed.   Asking $500 plus shipping.

sometimes the LED's require an additional load to work.  They don't sometimes create enough load for the flashers to work.  Some electronic places sell a external load to install in the circuit.

On my '65 Fastback, I installed a 9 inch rear axle assy. from a Lincoln Versaille.  The left rear tire rubs on the fender lip sometimes, not real bad, but enough to where I can see it peals off some rubber on the tire.  I have loosened the u-bolts on axle assy. and pushed the axle over to the right side as much as it will go.  I tried to roll the fender lip, but with the double thickness in that area, it didn't change much that I could see.  I am running 225x60 R15 tires  on the rear and the off set on the wheels are about all I can go before the tire gets into the rear spring..  Any ideas as to what I might do additionally?

Believe it or not, I fell for this one.  A buddy and I walked into a grill for lunch and since I am a car nut, there was a sign in the mirror behind the counter that read, FOR SALE, A 1940 HENWHEY.  Of course, I bit,"What's a Henwhey?  Wait for it!!!!!!!    About 6 lbs.

I bought a set of their headers for my '65 Fastback and Stan is great to work with and help.  I have a 392 Ford Racing crate motor with the 392 Z392 aluminum heads.  The exhaust ports are 3/8 inch higher on the heads so regular headers wouldn't work with everything.  Stan was familiar enough with that motor where he said a set of headers for a '67 Mustang might work.  He offered to send me a set and allowed me to try them and not pay for them until later.  I installed them and they bolted up great.  I did have to dimple one tube on the driver side, to clear steering gear shaft on the rack and pinion set-up.  I can't say enough good about his handling my problem.  Like others have stated, they aren't cheap, but a lot cheaper than my having to have a custom set made up.
